April 27, 2023 – Vienna Daughters’ Day

The Vienna Daughters’ Day on Thursday, April 27, 2023, gives girls between the ages of 11 and 16 the opportunity to get a taste of the world of work for a day. The aim is to get girls interested in technical, digital, manual and scientific professions. Daughters’ Day is an initiative of Deputy Mayor and City Councillor for Women Kathrin Gaál in cooperation with the Vienna Education Directorate and the Vienna Chamber of Commerce. Daughters’ Day is a school-related event. Pupils who take part in the Daughters’ Day are exempt from school on this day. Girls can register from February 13, 2023 (first school day after the semester break) on the Daughters’ Day website. Please inform the head of your class in good time of your daughter’s participation.
