Development quarter for new AHS in the 22nd district

The Vienna Department of Education designated the Bernoulli Grammar School as the location for a new AHS in the 22nd district. As of 12.3.2022, the following details are now known:

• The Bundesimmobiliengesellschaft (BIG) is erecting two-storey containers with a covered bridge construction on the first floor to our new building at the sports field (adjacent to the running track).
• The containers contain 12 classrooms, 2 special rooms (including 1 exercise room), 2 partition rooms, 1 conference room with mini kitchen, server room. The installation will take place from May to the end of July 2022, with the furnishings being delivered in August.
• Admission first classes 2022: 6 (Bernoulli) + 2 (Aufbauquartier) = 8 first classes
• The entire lower school of the new AHS location 2022 – 2026 will take place in the development quarter: approx. 12 classes in total
• Completion of the new AHS is planned for the 2026/27 school year.
• The division manager for the new AHS location will be Markus Kraushofer.
