As part of ErasmusDays2023, the Hertha Firnberg Schools and BernoulliGymnasium organized an event on the topic of “Europe connects”. This wonderful and long-standing cooperation between the two schools brings together the best of the worlds of vocational and general education. Because we share a common goal: we want our students to engage in a debate about Europe’s democratic future and develop a European identity in the process. In her opening speech, the State Secretary for Youth, Claudia Plakolm, emphasized the importance of Europe and getting to know European institutions. In the presence of representatives from ministries, the Directorate of Education, local councillors and the National Agency, both schools proved that it is not only Europe that unites us, but also the willingness to enable Erasmus+ students to spend time abroad.
