Key points for school operations from 7.1.2021 (status: 19.12.2020)

Dear parents!

I ask for your understanding that I am not informing you via press releases, but exclusively via information from the Ministry of Education (BMBWF). Statements made in press conferences often do not correspond with the official instructions.

Information from the BMBWF from 19.12.2020

From Thursday, 7.1.2021, to Friday, 15.1.2021, the following applies to AHS lower grades

• Teaching takes place via distance learning
• there is a supervision option for pupils at school, just as in the previous distance learning phases (e.g. learning stations)

AHS secondary schools

• the lessons are generally held in distance learning mode
• However, pupils can be brought to school on a class or day basis
• the focus in the attendance phases is on the preparation and implementation of tests, school work and the corresponding performance assessments
• Final examinations take place

From today’s perspective, all schools will resume in-person teaching on Monday, January 18, 2021.
