STAGE PLAN FOR THE OPENING OF SCHOOL 1ST – 7TH GRADES
At the press conference on 24.4.2020, BM Faßmann presented the staged plan for the opening of schools from Year 1 to Year 7. Dates
- Monday, May 18: Start of lower school classes
- Wednesday, June 3: Start of classes 5th – 7th grade
Principles
- Shift operation and group division: Class is divided into two groups. Group A has lessons from Monday to Wednesday, group B from Thursday to Friday, the next week in reverse order
- Timetable remains the same, but physical education and music education will be discontinued until the end of the school year
- Childcare (1st – 4th grades) is still available for the group that does not have lessons, subject to prior registration (email to [email protected] with the name of the pupil, class, day, period).
- Flexible curricula
- Performance assessment with a sense of proportion
- No schoolwork
- Promotion with a failing grade without a conference decision
- Excused absences
“The application of the provisions on unexcused absences will also be extended for this school year. Pupils who are unable to attend lessons at school due to the Corona crisis or if parents or guardians do not want to send their children to school due to concerns do not have to do so. They are considered excused, but are obliged to catch up on the missed material.” - Masks compulsory on the way to and from school and during breaks
We will inform you in good time about details and the grouping of classes. Stage plan for school opening, corrected version from 27.4.2020 (*.PDF) Letter to parents from BM Faßmann, corrected version from 27.4.2020 (*.PDF)
